Obesity in mankind is a very
serious issue. The percentage of obesity in Malaysia has been increases every
year and was being ranked in the position of 6th in the Asia in year
2010. Obesity is not only depends on the weight or the size of an individual
but it is also related to the eating patterns and habits
which every individual have to take note of. Hence, obesity occurs with different causes and has given
several effects to the mankind.
There are several causes and effects of obesity to human. This has
comes in several reasons. The first cause is over eating of particular
individual. Over eating can affect individual get obesity easily. They might
due to stress or they did not consume food in just sufficient portion. By over
eating, obesity will happen and affect individual appearance as in fat and
tubby. Many people are lack of confidence due to their appearance because they
think that they are not good in looking and they started to get shy to perform
themselves in front of others. Besides, obesity might easily get diseases such
as heart attack, cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes. These diseases are
very dangerous and might lead to death. So, over eating habit should be change
to avoid those dangerous diseases.
Lack of exercises can be also the cause of obesity. As we know,
proper exercises are very important to people in order to maintain healthy body
and life. Without proper exercise, the function of detoxification system of
body will tend to be less effective due to the lack of sweating. In this ages
and days, people think that working and earning money is important than their
health, and they are busying of work, so they don’t have enough time to do
exercises. In addition, the flow of the blood circulation in body will not work
well and will easily get sick and get stroke. Obviously, exercise is very
important to everyone in order to maintain body healthiness.
Imbalance of diet of an individual will also lead to obesity.
Nowadays, girls are very concern about their appearance especially their body
shape. They tend to eat less and do not consume meat that provides protein,
iron and vitamins. Due to this reason, malnutrition will occur, they did not
get sufficient vitamins in their body, and they might not get slim but gain
weight because of the imbalance vitamins in their body. Besides, some people
only eat fried and oily food they can easily gain weight and not healthy. Also,
in this case, individual may over excessive consumption of fats and cholesterol.
For example, they have habit on having fast food like burger, French fries,
fried chicken and so on. Always take not that appearance will not be the most
important in our life.
From here, we can know that obesity has brings a lot of disadvantages
to people and give us unhealthy life. Always remember, healthy is more than wealthy,
but healthy is equal to wealthy!
